Tree tag T004: Horse chestnut- Reduce the south-eastern limb by up to 2 m to appropriate pruning points to reduce loading on the identified defect. Reduce the eastern limb by up to 1 m to appropriate pruning points to improve crown balance on the south-eastern aspect. Reduce the central stem extending over the footpath by up to 3 m to appropriate pruning points to bring it into line with the remainder of the crown.

    T14 (T266 past tree report) Quercus ilex - Holm oak - I would recommend this tree be removed on the grounds of safety at the earliest opportunity. However given the importance of this tree and high amenity value it is strongly recommended that a resistograph drill test is undertaken to correlate and back up the Picus tomogram.
