Jubilee Park Off Mayhew Road Rendlesham Woodbridge Suffolk

Provide a small free form spray concrete skatepark which will be suitable for all wheeled sport riding disciplines. Positioning has been chosen to offer the maximum distance from the nearest housing (approximately 76m). It is an entirely "build up" design, thereby allowing the park to drain by natural run off without having to resort to a crating system which would otherwise be specified should a sunken bowl have been specified. The concrete when cured will dry to an off white/ creamy light grey colour. There are a few colour flashes on some of the internal upright elements for aesthetic reasons but to also allow riders with impaired eyesight to identify where elements of the park start and finish. there are two small items within the park made from galvanised steel and there are further additions of galvanised steel via the copings set into certain items within the park and protective edging to the park, to guard against chipping when the park is in use. The upright outside edges will have grassed bunds leading up to them to integrate the park aesthetically into the wider area. The existing use of the site location is nothing more than grass within the park.
