Prune away from streetlight and back from road to previous pruning points, removing approximately 1-1.5m of regeneration growth. This would leave a canopy spread to the south-east of 7m and to the south and south west of 9m. Reduce the west and north sides of the canopy by 1.5-2m to balance crown and keep the tree in scale with its surroundings. This would leave a canopy spread to the west and north of approximately 10-11m. There will be no significant works to the height of the tree. Selective branch pruning in the upper canopy following reduction of the side canopy to shorten over extended stems by 1-1.5m to balance the crown.

(TG34) Mixture of Limes, Maple, Sycamore, Sweet Chestnut outside D4 / D5 (TPO ref:G2/19S09 inc: Sweet Chestnut x 3 Lime x 6) - remove basal/epicormic growth, crown lift 5m by removal of small diameter branches (final cut size not to exceed 50mm). Remove sections of major deadwood greater than 50mm in diameter. Remove low quality fir tree (not protected by a TPO) rubbing against branch of TPO Sweet chestnut and shorten corresponding Sweet chestnut branch by 1.5-2m. (TG36 7x Lime trees. (TPO ref: G1/19S09 inc: Lime x 8) - remove basal/epicormic growth, crown lift 5m by removal of small diameter branches (final cut size not to exceed 50mm). Remove sections of major deadwood greater than 50mm in diameter. Prune to reduce the overextended section over the road on the most northern lime tree to bring limb broadly back into line with main canopy and mitigate against limb failure. Reduce section by 3-3.25m leaving a balanced and flowing crown outline (final cut size not to exceed 50mm). (TG38) Sycamore x1 (tree nearest building) (TPO ref: T1/19S09 inc: just 1x sycamore)- Prune away from the building to give 3m clearance.

T93 Horse Chestnut on the R1 lawn/footpath.(TPO ref: W1/12S01) - Sever and remove Ivy, reduce over-extended sub stem overhanging the footpath by 1.5-2m to bring into line with main canopy and mitigate against failure. T103 Yew on the R1 lawn/footpath.(TPO ref: W1/12S01) - Remove tree and treat stump to inhibit regeneration. Tree is leaning into adjacent yew, probably as a result of root failure.

Reduce section by 2-2.25m leaving a balanced and flowing crown outline. There has been movement in the wall which is directly in front of the tree. T11 Magnolia in front of the finance office. Reduce tree back to previous pruning points to keep the tree in scale with its surroundings. Branches are touching buildings and wires. Retain as much internal growth as practicable as well as the smaller regeneration growth at the historic cut points to maximise foliar cover. Works would reduce the tree by approximately 2m from height and branch tips.
