2024/0458 Granted
Ilex Mill Bacup Road Rawtenstall Rossendale Lancashire
The proposal is to upgrade BT Openreach's existing copper infrastructure to full fibre to the premises (FTTP) as mandated by the Government in view of the copper switch-off. Existing ducting will be used to reach the scheme. As much as is possible, discrete cabling will run in the wall/ceiling crease, skirting boards, and door reveals and a point of entry box will be fitted by each flat door for future services. The cabling to be used is invisilight, which is effectively an iPhone cable in likeness and so barely visible. At times, a small amount of PVC trunking will be needed to protect the cabling spanning across the corridor width e.g please see page 17 pic 2 of the appended cabling plans. Additionally, the cabling will briefly need to run along the exterior walls of the building e.g page 26 of the appended cabling plans.

2022/1102 Granted
Morley Mills Morley Street Daybrook Nottinghamshire
Existing ducting will be used for entry, though a small amount of civils is required to reach 46-60. In communal areas, Openreach propose to run invisilight cabling flush against the ceiling/wall crease with a small POE box to be fitted above each front doorway. Whenever the cabling is routed along the brickwork in communal areas, this will be protected by PVC trunking. External cabling (left naked) will run high along the walls to reach those flats with an external entrance, again with a POE box fitted above each door.
