WILLOW TREE RIDING ESTABLISHMENT, RONVER ROAD, LONDON, SE12 0NL
Please accept this email as my 5-day Notice, Limited Exceptions (Town and Country Planning (Tree Preservation) (England) Regulations 2012, Part 4 - Applications for Consent under Tree Preservation Orders) for the removal of a group of Sycamore trees that have been the subject of a fire damage along with a dead Cherry tree within the curtilage of the Pink Willows Equestrian Centre, Ronver Road, Lewisham. The trees were the subject of your investigation and approval yesterday (7th February 2024) and therefore agreed. I will mark the trees for removal with a red paint mark and also be on site when the trees are removed. In accordance with the above Regulations, the client has kindly agreed to replant with 3 trees for every one tree removed which is a very generous offer. As discussed yesterday, your aspiration is to provide or retain a negative screen between the site and the boundary and therefore these trees will be planted along the boundary (as discussed and agreed yesterday). I have attached a number of photographs more as a record than a reminder as you visit regularly. As a further indication of the owners willingness to be compliant and to provide confidence that the wildlife issues are being sensitvely managed, the deadwood timber will be stacked as habitat piles around the site to provide additional habitat to support the biodiversity present. I am unsure if you are aware, but as my duty of care, I called in on the resident of No 77 Ronver Road to offer some reassurance that both Lewisham Council and the owner of the Pink Willows Equestrian Centre take people's lives seriously and so collaboratively the trees will be removed in good time, BT will be notified of their damaged pole, the burnt fencing will be addressed and hopefully, now with a temporary presence on site, he should no longer need to live in fear of danger to life and property. I look forward to your timely response in order that the tree removal can be arranged.
