The follow plan identifies the trees T1, T2, T3 T1 Willow - Fell to level where there is no further rot to allow to grow back This is beautiful weeping willow which was made up of two main trunks. During September this year, one of these trunks fell and crushed our green house. A tree surgeon removed the fallen tree and during their assessment confirmed that this had been caused by rot in the main trunk of the tree. Their assessment is that there are 2 remaining risks 1) its likely the rot will exist in the remaining trunk and 2) significant imbalance increasing the risk of the fall. The advice was to unfortunately cut back the remaining trunk down to a level where the rot stops to try and let it regrow.
