These trees are situated on raised ground which leads to a significant shade arc being cast across the garden. As discussed, any reduction will be unlikely to improve the situation and possibly be of detriment to the trees going forward as a number of included and multiple stems already exist a reduction will compound these issues leading to increased likelihood of failure. There is a possibility of damage to foundations to rear wall and garage over time, no evidence of this has been observed at present. Therefore removal would be the most practical solution going forward providing the council agree the proposal.
