SEE CONDITION 2 FOR APPROVED WORKS. Front Garden - Front Boundary in Corner. T1 - London Plane. Remove dead and diseased wood.. Lift to approximatley 6 metres, carry out climbing inspection for Massaria. The tree is located in the front garden on the front boundary. Removal of Deadwood - Exempt Work. Lifting of the lower crown to a height of approximately 6m to reduce the encroachment from the highway and understory trees. To allow more suitable light levels under the lower crown. Carry out a climbing inspection for Massaria - Exempt works. Front Garden Front Boundary - Left Hand Side. T2 - Yew. Remove dead and diseased wood. Retain central height. Reduce lateral width by up to approximately 2 metres of the branch length. Lift to 3 metres. The tree is located in the front garden to the left hand side. Reduction of the lateral width to reduce the branch end weight. Part of a maintenance program to reduce the lateral width in order to shape and balance the crown. To reduce the extent of encroachment from the highway and front garden area. To enhance the aesthetics of the tree. Front Boundary H3 - Mixed Hedge. Trim back overhang from public footpath as hard as possible retaining healthy growth. The hedge is located along the front boundary. Trimming back from the highway to reduce the encroachment from the highway/public footpath area Front Garden - Front Boundary Right Hand Side T4 - Ivy Clad Yew Remove Ivy Leaf Foliage retaining main framework, sever at base to allow 1.5 metres clearance from ground level. The tree is located on the front boundary on the right hand side. Removal of Ivy leaf foliage and severing of Ivy - Exempt works

    Fell T1 Beech and remove to ground level. This application is made in response to its declining condition following suspected deliberate damage and the potential consequences of failure given its proximity to neighbouring property and the road. Observed condition T1 is one of four beech trees on the site that appear to have been deliberately damaged. Multiple large holes have been drilled into the main stem of T1 at approximately 1 1.5 metres above ground level. The other three beech trees have died. T1 remains alive but is showing dieback within the crown and cracking in the bark. The drilled holes and the condition of the neighbouring trees raise a strong concern that a harmful substance may have been introduced into the stems. To replace the four affected trees, we propose to plant four suitable new trees in locations and of species to be agreed with the authority.
