At the moment the wall appears to be stable but it is impossible to judge when the wall will become unstable and therefore unsafe. We recommend the tree is removed as soon as possible and the wall is repaired....." T2-5: 4x Limes, T6: 1 Robinia & T7: The trees and area have been neglected and many of the trees are obscured by ivy. The trees are also growing on top of a high retaining wall above Newcastle terrace. As the trees increase in size they will be increasing the forces on the wall, possible causing damage. The trees form does not lend themselves to being reduced and the so the prefered option would be to remove the trees and replace.
