Eventually it will encroach on the house again if we don't keep it under control. 2. Trim up the overhanging branches of Hawthorne, Prunus, Holly etc. on Bargate to just above fence height. We periodically get complaints from pedestrians, and it's time to pay attention to this. 3. Trim back only the Hawthorne overhanging flowerbed at Bargate end of property cutting back to main body of Hawthorne. 4. Trim back Laurel that is shading flowerbed to side of property, and also interfering with neighbour's condenser pipe and rainwater goods. Cutting back to clear the compost bins. 5. Reduce height of Cypressus at rear of property to 6m. They are very fast growing and we anticipate our rear neighbours will be contacting us soon to ask us to take care of them. 6. Finally, an overgrown Elder has been revealed in the back corner. It is covered in ivy, half dead, and we would like to have it removed.

Willow Tree - Front of Property. Requires Pollarding due to severe damage cause by recent bad weather. Large branch snapped under the weight of rain and stress from the wind. Branch landed in the street with partial blockage to the road and significant blockage to the path. On closer inspection a number of dead branches have also been located. The tree has become severely unbalanced, with the bulk of its weight leaning toward the property. Roots are also visible at the base. The height of the tree is 64ft with a distance to the property of approx 34ft, this would cause significant damage to the property should it become more unbalanced. I am planning to have the tree pollarded and reduced in size by at least a 3rd to allow future growth to be in a controlled manner.

The tree has grown over the house close to the roof, and also provides area's for birds to foul on the drive way and cars over and above the normal level of expected bird mess.
