This tree is within close proximity to the property and greatly shades 14 Woodlands Road. There is a large amount of deadwood and failed limbs present within the canopy of the tree. This will be removed under exempt works. We are then looking to reduce the height and radial spread of the tree to form a more compact canopy. This will assist in reducing end weight in the branches and hopefully reducing the risk of further branch failures in heavy wind/snow. It will improve the overall shape of the tree and offer much needed maintenance. This work can then be assessed and revisited in 3-5 years time.
