About this record
Reading the register
This page mirrors an entry on the statutory planning register that Brent is required to keep. The published feed for this record does not state which type of application it is, which is common for older entries and for some council systems; the register entry on the council portal will say, alongside the case officer and any consultation dates.
Every planning application follows the same broad path: submission, validation, publicity, then a decision by officers or committee. Our guide to planning application types explains the common types and what each can approve.

26/1828 Awaiting decision
1 Old St Andrews Mansions, Old Church Lane, London, NW9 8TB
The tree is a mature Quercus robur (English Oak), approximately 70 ft in height with a canopy spread of around 40 ft. It is located on the rear boundary of 1 Old St Andrews Mansions, Old Church Lane, NW9 8TB, with branches extending directly over the three garages situated approximately 20 ft away. The proposed works consist of the complete removal (felling) of the oak tree, including cutting to ground level and removal of all arisings. The works are required due to structural damage caused by root activity, including significant cracking in the central garage, minor cracking in the adjoining garages, and displacement of the boundary fence located approximately 10 ft from the tree. No stump grinding is proposed at this stage unless required by Brent Council.
