Involves a general re-shaping involving a crown reduction and thinning to a specification within BS3998 -2010 and as agreed by the tree surgeon and planning officer.. A reduction of 2 .5 m was mentioned but I would welcome intervention and advice so that the tree is shaped symmetrically and retains the character of its crown. Also to check and remove any areas of decay that would benefit surrounding properties in the event of high wind. In addition, the removal of a small (12cm diameter), low, partially decayed over hanging branch toward No.6 Rhodfa Sant Elian, which was damaged by high winds.

To reduce the 9 yew trees to an approximate height of 4m and reduce the width of side branches to half length (varies tree to tree). The dry inner thick matting of branches (the original topiary from the historical photos) would also be removed in sections around live side branches, to expose the trunk to sunlight to also stimulate new growth. These are situated in the garden leading from the house to the fountain.

T2 Sycamore x1 - Crown reduce and trim back overhanging branches over neighbour's house in the summer season by approx. 1.5-2 metres, to lessen mechanical loading on potentially compromised attachment points, and to reduce the risk of damage these trees may have on our neighbour's property.
